THE WINTERIZATION PROCESS

What happens during a sprinkler blowout?

Every irrigation system is different. We use the proper connection and follow the equipment requirements before clearing each zone.

01 · INSPECT

Check the connection

Locate the shutoff and appropriate blowout access, and check for obvious damage or missing fittings.

02 · ISOLATE

Shut off irrigation water

Isolate the water supply and prepare the components according to the system manufacturer's requirements.

03 · BLOW OUT

Clear each sprinkler zone

Use regulated compressed air suited to the equipment to remove remaining water from the irrigation lines.

04 · WRAP UP

Prepare for winter

Adjust the controller for seasonal shutdown and advise you of any visible repair concerns.

Important pricing details: The $100 covers standard winterization. Broken fittings, missing blowout access, connection fabrication, or repairs are quoted separately, with your approval before the extra work. Winterizing reduces freeze damage risk but doesn't guarantee against every possible freeze failure.
